- Project manager for fast-track start-up of a new 425,000 square foot distribution facility for a Top 100 catalog/direct client. The project included concept design, layout and implementation management of processing equipment, contracting, installation, and testing. Met an aggressive timeline on budget.
- Led team in design of distribution center processes, layout, and systems requirements for major parts wholesaler
- Developed the design, specifications, vendor selection, implementation, and migration management to consolidate three separate DC operations to a single 545,000 square foot central DC.
- Led a cross-functional team through a complete logistics and related business process improvement and reengineering project to increase capacity 15% while decreasing labor expense by 20%. Prepared a complete revision of the warehousing policies and procedures.
- Performed distribution center operational assessment for major apparel supplier. Reviewed best practices and developed recommendations to modify layout and process for capacity improvement in the facility as the firms sales volume increased and order size decreased.
- Project manager for plan development to revamp process flow, layout, equipment and systems for 16% improvement in order fulfillment accuracy with no operating cost increase.
