Phase I – Setting Objectives
One of the reasons Progress Group projects are so successful is that we start every project the same way: by working closely with you to establish a clear and communicated understanding of objectives, priorities, resource needs and a reasonable schedule. This way, every member of the team is in sync on project scope and direction before strategic or tactical efforts are initiated. Without this critical kind of consensus among team members, few initiatives can deliver the intended results.

This step in the process can be performed either as a stand-alone deliverable or as the beginning stage of a full cycle implementation oriented engagement.

Phase II – Project-Level Evaluation
In this phase, we conduct a diagnosis of current processes, assets and resources to discover the opportunities for meeting your business goals and the best ways to achieve them. It is important that this process be a cooperative effort between your internal team and The Progress Group’s project team. The integrated team will define the scope and anticipated benefits for moving on with future stages of the work.

Phase IIB – Enterprise-Level Evaluation
Depending on your company’s needs, interests and structure, The Progress Group will also conduct an enterprise-level examination of your organization’s supply chain and logistics technology functions, or more defined reviews of distribution operations, warehouse management systems, transportation, third-party logistics evaluation or logistics processes.

Phase III – Key Improvement Options
This phase is designed to give your management team the vision and direction it needs to move with confidence into the next stage of your improvement effort. As deliverables, we will recommend and prioritize opportunities for accomplishing your business goals. We will review with you the approaches and direction of your internal teams and apply our knowledge of best practices to help you set aggressive and achievable goals aligned with your business.
