Global Reach; Global Results
Today’s supply chain strategies and logistics solutions can’t stop at national, or even continental, boundaries. Creative thinking and visions for future operations don’t slide to a halt at water’s edge.

Optimization, by definition, means that the whole world is in play. Anything less than that risks sub-optimization. Whether the issues lie in conforming and integrating systems, or in identifying and rolling out best operating practices, the solutions must consider a supply chain’s total geography. And, for those who are not facing international relationships today – never fear. You will be soon enough.

At The Progress Group, we’ve already prepared ourselves to meet the challenges of global operations. We have on-the-ground experience in Mexico, Canada, Guatemala, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and the UK, with exposure to China, Viet Nam, Korea, Singapore, and Japan. But, it’s not enough that we are collectively experienced and comfortable in international settings.

TPG is a founding member of The Supply Chain Group (SCG), the European-American consortium of consultancies. This organization supports the local delivery of high-quality results to US clients with European operations, or to US operations of European clients. As well, it allows the application of unique tools and solution sets on both sides of the Atlantic. Currently, the SCG members are resident in Germany (2), the United Kingdom (2), the Netherlands and Benelux countries (3), France, and Italy. Expansion is being planned into Scandinavia, Iberia, Greece and the Balkans, and Eastern Europe.

SCG's proprietary tool to assist in WMS selection has been named Best WMS Selection Tool by IT Logistiek magazine. Please feel free to check out WOLF to see for yourself.

We manage access to and service delivery in additional markets through a network of alliances and relationships. For example, we work with Logixsource Consulting, Ltd., the Toronto-based consultancy when presence north of the Border is vital (www.logixsource.com).
For insight and entrée to Central and South America, our working partner is the Latin America Logistics Center.

Singapore is our port of entry to the Far East, through our association with The Logistics Institute – Asia-Pacific. We also maintain a network of reliable “old China hands,” who have field experience in consulting with and for off-shore US operations and indigenous operations across the Pacific Rim.
